As most of you know by now I've been doing a little pro-bono wedding planning-designing-helping for a few of my friends.(There must be something in the water, everyone's getting engaged!) Most noteworthy would be K.'s wedding this June, the happy couple has been engaged since August and are starting to get really excited. Most everything is done now, we're just sitting back and waiting for the actual day to get here. For my part in the wedding I've been a suggestion search engine, having weddings been a hobby for quite some time. They landed on a beautiful turquoise and black for most of the event with hints of ivory and green in the flowers. Having know the bride since birth, I couldn't wait to see the whole "wedding" process in action from start to finish, it was stressful yet we made so many great memories along the way. My main contribution to the nuptials was the designing, printing, and putting together of anything paper that dare show itself to me. That included the save-the-dates (which was all that was planned, but we all thought they really exuded their wedding-day style so we stuck with that theme and went onward), the invitations (which had 3,000 parts to them! turned out great, in fact we just got ours in the mail yesterday!) and the programs (which are still a work in progress, but almost complete, I'll post pics of everything once the their done).I love the happy couple and am so glad that I could experience this wonderful event and be apart of it all.
